Jeremy's biting his nails again. He forgot to bring his sandwiches
with him, and he's really hungry. The Governor will have to give
him some money for his lunch, but he's skinned enough as it is.
The prison hasn't had any profits for weeks, and the bills keep
on coming. All because the Governor had to pay a man to get rid
of an enourmous leak on B-wing.
On top of that, it's Freedom Showday again! Up for release this
time are the amazing Asher Tea and his diabolo, the stupendous Fraser
Hooper the clown, the fantastic Beatbox Unorthodox and the truly
magnificent quick change artists David and Dania! It's costing the
Governor a small fortune.

Melvin, Peter Nokio and Chimp are wandering round D-wing. Mr Burgess,
who's in a grumpy mood again, warns Melvin he doesn't want any trouble
from him. He doesn't want any mischief, naughtyness or other types
of monkey business! Mr Burgess will be watching him.
Master magician Stephen Mulhern was just looking for Melvin, he
wants his help. He heard that Melvin can get things no one else
of the inmates can. Mr Flopsy passed away about a month ago, and
Stephen needs a new rabbit. Melvin says he'll get him a bunny, but
it'll cost him. With a bit of magic, the amazing Mulhern gives Melvin
the cash. Prisoner Harry wants a wig, so Melvin adds that to his
list of things to get for the other prisoners as well.
The Governor is looking for some lunch money to give to Jeremy.
He doesn't have much luck though, the only thing he can find in
his piggy bank is a bit of chewing gum. He tells Jeremy to come
back later. The prison's in big financial problems.

Peter and Chimp are on the lookout for Mr Burgess, while Melvin
talks to Sue, the Slammer's laundry girl, about getting his stuff
into the prison. She really fancies Melvin, and wants to do anything
to make him happy. Melvin's about to give Sue his list of things
he needs, when Mr Burgess interrupts them. He takes Melvin to the
Governor.
"I've just apprehended this theatrical reject in the middle
of a dastardly scheme to smuggle in dangerous items, sir" Mr
Burgess tells the Governor. The Governor asks Mr Burgess if it would
really be so terrible to let the prisoners have a few things of
the list. Frank Burgess thinks they need to show the peforming rif
raf a little bit of discipline. "Otherwise, before you know
it, they will moonwalk all over you!" The Governor notices
the amounts of money written down on Melvin's list. "That's
what people give me to get their stuff into the prison", Melvin
says. Mr Burgess thinks it's disgusting, but the Governor finds
it really interesting. "That much money for a few little things
like that!" He decides to pop into town first, and he takes
Melvin's list with him.
Back from the town, the Governor wants to see Melvin in his office.
He bought everything that was on his list. Melvin hands over the
money he got from the other prisoners. The Governor's financial
worries are now over, and on top of that, it's showtime!

The audience decides who gets to leave The Slammer with the help
of the Clap-O-Meter. Whoever gets the loudest applause wins a price
money can't buy, freedom. The children were amazed by David and
Dania's quick change act, and decided they should leave The Slammer.
